Hi guys. I´ve downloaded the trial version of the Waves PRS & it didn`t transfer automatically to either of my DAW`s (Music Maker & Reaper). On my computer I`ve got files for Waves Central (2kb) & each of the 3 amps (1kb each). The format is "shortcut.ink". Put these in the relevant folders but nothing coming up on the DAWS. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas?
To see this working, head to your live site.

Chris, it's not a stupid question, I couldn't figure out how Waves do their thing with plugins.
The answer is that they have a unique way of licensing their plugins, that's the Waves Central.
There is a Download and Install button on the bottom right in Waves Central
This Video goes through the process, and would you belive it, it's PRS...
The actual plugins are not really visible on your pc as .vst's, they are kind of wrapped up in a bigger file, and Waves sort of unravels it automatically when you need it.
You will need to scan for plugins in both reaper and Music Maker, maybe @pompeyjazz can help you with how to do that in Reaper, he's a whizz with Reaper.
Let me know if this helps.
Just going through the install process now on Reaper to see if it works ! I've activated and installed. The plugin is installed as a VST3 file, so if you go into Reaper, on a track click the FX button and highlight the VST3 tab or NEW tab ypou should see the PRS amp sims there. I just tried a clean sound on the guitar as an example of this demo WIP track...... https://soundcloud.com/pompeyjazz/funkmore/s-h8I0QYM2HTu
@pompeyjazz @Chris Underwood - Thanks Johnno, grta that you help, really appreciate it..Hope you dig the PRS, has some nice crunch tones
Brilliant.. thank you so much guys. 😊👍
@Chris Underwood - is it all working now?
Problem solved @cowparsleyman. It was the VST3 plugin path that had disappeared somehow !? Just relinked it & all the VST3`s I thought hadn`t registered on reaper have popped up. :) Thanks so much for your help CPM & @pompeyjazz . Now to go swimming (or drowning) in Waves. :)
Let me know what you think of it...
